The Good, The Bard & The Ugly where there's a Will... there's a home...

The Players

I met Chris in late 2003 doing panto and we have worked together since both as actors and directors.  In 2006 I put on an outdoor production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream and then, wanting to do more Shakespeare and more writing, decided to combine the two with “The Good, The Bard & The Ugly”.

Mary Drake's other Shakespeare includes: Titania/Hippolyta, Helena, Puck, Flute and Starveling (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), Mistress Quickly (Henry IV Pt1, Queen Elizabeth (Rich Ill), Mistress Page (Merry Wives of  Windsor), Macbeth and producing and directing a Tsunami Benefit performance of The Tempest, playing Sebastian.  Further theatre: Martha Josie & the Chinese Elvis, Divinas Palabras,  The Star Factory.  Recent TV includes EastEnders.

Chris Diacopoulos started acting at the age of 12 and his first professional performance was at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden.  He later joined a rock folk band and toured the festivals and folk clubs, whilst still acting.  Shakespeare includes Puck, Bottom and Demetrius in A Midsummer Night’s Dream which he has also directed.  He is an Aikido master holding senior instructor grades in both the UK and Japan and combines his martial and theatre skills by arranging and directing fights for stage and film.
